She appeared one day in front of our team member's house and just like in the movies, after greeting our team member with a huge tail wag, Roma started running after her while she tried to drive herself down the road. It was the day ROMA came to our shelter.
SHE is a lovely, calm, gentle dog who would love to have her own place in the family.
It's the least she deserves !
Things you have to know about ROMA
5 years old
around 15 kg
Placed in the shelter where she is surrounded with c.20 other dogs and puppies and so far she has been nice with them
for more than 1 month she had lived in a house and had absolutely nailed it-calm, obedient, undemanding. She would always seek a quiet place for herself, where she can be unbothered and chilled.
Regardless of all those dogs in the shelter -ROMA's got a thing for humans-she l o v e s them, Whenever someone would talk to her she would wag her tail and look the person with the excitement. Although we haven't seen her with kids, we think she loves them as well as she is one extremely affectionate and people orientated dog.
used to living indoors and somehow house and toilet trained
not lead trained
averagely active, she loves the cozines of her doggy's house where she likes to stay most of the time, so she would benefit from having a calmer dog around or a family without a dog as she doesn't like being pestered all the time.
loves cuddles and she would often approach us timidly and put her head in the lap of one of us for a good stroke
fully vaccinated, healthy and spayed
How do you adopt ROMA?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Roma's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you. The costs are typically €475 in total, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
