Zaga was spotted in a big park, where most likely she was left with her baby girls. She didnāt cope well with the environment and the food in their bowls was intact which is why we think the tiny family was abandoned.
Her babies were immediately taken to their rescuerās appartment and when the rescuer came back to pick Zaga , Zaga obsessively looked the rescuerās arms, searching for the girls.
She spent months in the flat, learning how to be a loved dog, a dog who finally has a home.
She came a long way from being scared from her own reflection in the
mirror and being cautious towards everyone to enjoying fully in the tenderness and love she receives daily without which she would now be completely lost. But unfortunately Zaga had to be moved to the boarding house as her rescuer couldnāt keep her due to problems with the neighbors.

Currently living in a pen, which was hard for her to get used to as previously she lived in a flat and experienced fully that kind of life she truly enjoys in

She is fine with other dogs but would be good to have her as an only dog because she can be very possessive sometimes which relates to her background. We believe she hadnāt had any good experience with people before and since the encounter with her rescuer she descovered a whole new dimension where only love and tenderness exists. She now clings to it so tightly, as if she was afraid of loosing it. That would break her heart without any doubt.
she used to sleep with her carer, glued to her legs. Zaga is able to connect deeply to a person who will be her carer- she shows gratitude in every step she takes and would do anything to keep that connection.
enjoys in human contact and is an attention seeker - she would rub her body of the rescuerās legs to let her now she is there and demand some cuddles
Amazing with people, both familiar and unfamiliar, especially the people who cuddle&talk to her and make her feel special. She eagerly needs to feel loved 24/7
In the boarding house she lives with a 2 y old child and is amazing with him
walks on a lead and enjoys going in walks. She is very active and would benefit so much from having an outdoorsy family who can let her explore the world.

How do you adopt Zaga?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Zagaās transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.
The costs are typically ā¬475 in total, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
