One day someone left 7 puppies in front of the shelter. One of them was baby Woody!
Woody lives in the shelter, in which he was left as a baby. All he has even known is shelter and that little pen of his he shares with her brothers and a sister. Woddy is the chonkiest in the litter but also the bravest one. It seems as he copes a bit better with the unfamiliarities, still you'll have to go gently on him as this boy knows nothing else but shelter life.
Things you should know about Woody
DOB: June 2024
weights around 15kg, should be around 20kg at full size
mixed breed
lives in the shelter and is placed in an enclosure he shares with his siblings
not house and toilet trained, so he'll need some extra guidance as living in the house will be a whole new experience
he still hasn't met the children; he'd be just great with dog savvy, preferably kids above 10 years of age
not tested on cats, although he is still very young and is easy getting him used to anything new
Woody is one curious and cheerful chap who looks for fun in every corner of the shelter. Even though he has his siblings to play with every day, he enjoys going to the yard and mixing with other dogs who he is great with. He seems as the bravest dog in the litter of 7, copes better in an unfamiliar environment compared to his siblings; still he needs slow exposure as these dogs know nothing but shelter. Woody loves running, rolling in the grass and showing you his belly for some cuddles.
loves people in general and isn't too shy but can be a bit reserved at the beginning towards the ones he doesn't know well, but that changes fast, and he starts enjoying the attention.
loves all dogs and shows no fear, even with the ones he meets the first time
walking on the lead is a new thing to him so he'll need some practice
healthy, fully vaccinated and castrated
How do you adopt Woody?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Woody's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get him to you.
The costs are typically €550 in total per dog, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
