Blum and her sister Stella live in one of our boarding houses, and are 2,5 years old.

They came from a litter of 3 puppies who were left somewhere to die. After finding them, their rescuer took care of them for as long as they could, but soon it became impossible to keep them due to private matters, so they ended becoming long term residents of the boarding house.

There, they constantly meet lots of other dogs. The difference is, the dogs they meet are only left there until their adoption date comes, or until their owners come back to pick them up.

Blum and Stella are good girls, and are always there to welcome and escort those happy dogs, and help them settle in to the shelter.

But what about them?

Will they ever be as lucky as those other dogs?

What they know so far is a small pen where they spend most of the time, and a yard for them to see the daylight.

Despite that, they are wonderful girls.

Could you be the one who’ll change their destiny?

They can be homed together or separately - you can read about Stella here

Things you should know about Blum:

  • 2,5 y old

  • Mixed breed, possibly husky cross

  • Weigh around 25kg

  • Currently placed in a boarding house which she shares with numerous dogs with whom she gets along perfectly

  • Not cat tested

  • Not accustomed to an indoors life and not toilet trained, but she's smart and it’s something she will learn quickly - we think she will love her own sofa with her humans!

  • Blum spends a lot of time in an enclosed area for dogs and it’s been so for years now. You can imagine how desperate she is for walks, runs, spending time outside the boarding house. She LOVES to go out, and having a human of her own to pay her some attention for a while.

  • Blum is really friendly to people and other dogs, both familiar and unfamiliar

  • Active, likes to explore, sniff, have a bath in the river, walk on a lead

  • Children must be dog savvy

  • Healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed

How do you adopt Blum?

Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.

You will need to pay for B/S‘s transportation, and pay for the paperwork. The costs are typically €475 in total, depending on where you are located.

We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
