🌸🎀MAYA🎀🌸

Back in September, tiny puppies were left in the vicinity of the airport. The one who left them didn't care whether they'll survive or not, because eventually they didn't survive. At least not all of them,

One puppy was soon hit by a car, the other by a truck.

Only MAYA and her brother MICKY had some luck in their tiny lives and it is only why they are still breathing this air.

They survived the winter alone outside. Kind people made them a little house to warm up and had been feeding them for months. Once they were fully vaccinated, they arrived in the shelter.

Shy, confused, cautious....and finally safe.

Since then, they've opened up to us and to the other dogs and we can say they are truly enjoying the time they've been spending with us.

Things you should know about MAYA

✔️1 year old ✔️mixed breed ✔️around 15kg

  • Lives in a shelter, in an enclosure she shares with her brother Mickey

  • not used to a house and not toilet trained but is a clever girl so she should learn that quickly

  • not cat tested but is very lively so a nice and steady introduction is needed

  • spends time in the yard during the day, surrounded with 30 other dogs, different in size and personality with whom she gets on perfectly and fits into the hierarchy quite nicely. Still her favourite companion is her brother MICKEY <3

  • as a playful girl she is, she'll bring so much joy to the one who wish to adopt her. Sometimes she rejoices so much to have people by her side that she nibbles them gently for their legs when she is behind them just to let them know she is there and she demands attention :D

  • not child tested. Although she is quite jumpy at times, we think that with dog savvy kids she'll be just brilliant. Not a pinch of aggressiveness in her - only love and happiness! Still a slow and proper introduction is a must as due to a hard trip she will be stressed and confused.

  • lively and active, loves running through the shelter which is why we think that an outdoorsy people would make a nice match to her

  • not lead trained but should learn fast

  • healthy, vaccinated and spayed

How do you adopt MAYA?

Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.

You will need to pay for Maya's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.

The costs are typically €550 in total, depending on where you are located.

We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.

For more information please contact our facebook page or email misisrescue@gmail.com
