She was found near a cemetery, in a bad shape, hungry and with matted fur, making her look very neglected. It was clear that she had been for a long time on the streets. Some nice ladies had provided her with food for some time whenever she would show up. But this girl was imploring for a shelter, a place to crash peacefully and worry free far from danger.
So Ruby ended in a foster home. After some decompression time, good food and peace she was taken to the groomers who took off all the glued matted fur from her body and we were finally able to see the beauty behind all that.
Months after, we welcomed her to the shelter.
She blended in immediately with her pen mates-big choco labs.

She loves her walks the most. Even though she still isn't allowed to run free through the shelter, she gets to somewhat burn off her energy on her walks and what we noticed is that she truly behaves friendly towards all dogs she encounters -and there are many dogs in the shelter.
A dog of a very sweet demeanor, who is playful and lively but also cuddly and very friendly towards people, both familiar and unfamiliar.
hasn't been introduced to kids but this shouldn't be an issue as long as the kids are respectful towards animals and preferably dog savvy.

How do you adopt Ruby?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Ruby's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.
The costs are typically âŹ550 in total per puppy, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
