🌼FRODO🌤️

Lovely Posavac hound mum was spotted with her 11 babies on a field in a village. Locals said she was roaming around looking for food for weeks so possibly she gave birth somewhere and once the puppies started walking she took them to a field.

People living across the road of the field saw the numerous family standing there one pouring day in November and decided to take them in so they at least are safe and away from other dogs, cars and other dangers.

Having a mum and 11 puppies forced them to ask for help and it was when we jumped in for help.

2 puppies were locally adopted and 9 of them scrolled under MISI's wings. Mum is happily adopted by kind people who saved the numerous family in the first place.

Now these chonky little pupps are ready for their furever homes <

NEXT in line is gorgeous, the tiniest of them all, Frodo❤️

Things you should know about Frodo

✔️2 years old

✔️Posavac hound cross

✔️Weighs around 10-12kg,

  • she is currently living in the shelter where she is placed in a pen with 2 of her sisters

  • has never been indoors and isn't toilet trained but with some guidance and perseverance she should pick on that quite fast

  • not cat tested. it shouldn't be a problem living with a cat due to such young age and proper and slow introductions with a cat

  • during the day she is released in the yard with more than 30 other dogs. From day 1 puppies have been in the mood for 4 legged companions, they aren't fearful and mostly want to play with all kinds of dogs

  • She is quite a darling with people -aboslutely loves all the attention for herself. A great cuddle monster and quite a lively dog

  • hasn't been introduced to kids but this shouldn't be an issue as long as the kids are respectful towards animals and preferably dog savvy.

These dogs tend to be active, curious and eager to explore so an active family would be the best option for them.

  • So far hasn't had the opportunity to show the prey drive which is common with Posavac breed. The breed is known as very intelligent and working dog ( he'll need mental & physical stimulation), athletic with amazing stamina, trainable and their loyalty and devotion to the family make them brilliant family pets

  • healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed

How do you adopt Frodo?

Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.

You will need to pay for Frodo's transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.

The costs are typically €550 in total per puppy, depending on where you are located.

We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.

For more information please contact our facebook page or email misisrescue@gmail.com
