Our boy, strong as steel - Debeljko is finally up for adoption. And although it makes us sad watching him leaving our side, we know it will be for the best.
He marked the day MISI's started the construction in the shelter. That day our first enclosure was built and that's when he strolled into our shelter making himself at home :D
He has been always the strongest and sweetest pupp we have ever seen until something unexplainable happened to him which deteriorate his health severely -you can read that here
And in spite bad prognosis, surrender wasn't an option, so we all continued to fight for him until he was finally better.
Because he is a survivor !⭐
Now our boy is looking for a home 🏡
BTW Debeljko translated in English means "fat person".
~When found
~And now
Things you need to know about him:
2 years old
mixed breed
weighs around 30-35kg
At first he was placed in the shelter where he welcomed all those different dogs and puppers, but the moment his health deteriorated, he was transferred to our team members's house so she could nurse him back to health and there he had spent several months while his recovery lasted
Now Debeljko is one of the most gorgeous, & best dogs in the shelter. Calm, obedient, sweet in nature, with non existent incidents with other dogs even though he is one of the biggest dogs there. He is to be trusted to be one of the free dogs who is never locked in a pen, so he rules the yard with a couple of other dogs.
he is magnificent with dogs - familiar or unfamiliar but also with cats as well
wonderful with people, very easy going and confident with them
quite playful, loves spending time in the yard and eager to go for walks so much that it seems sometimes that this boy just can't catch a break- he wants it all now, and who can blame him for that!
playfulness is something he is famous of, he makes the fun to himself if no one is willing to join him so it would be nice to have an active or averagely active family who could deal with his energy level
due to his size kids must be dog savvy and used to having big dogs around
fully vaccinated healthy & castrated
How do you adopt Debeljko?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for his transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get him to you. The costs are typically €550 in total, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
