Lilly used to live on the street. She was mistreated and because of that, there are many scars all over her body. We can't even think what she has gone through 🥺
She has been living in a foster home for 2 years, as we felt she needed a lot of time to get used to her new environment and to start trusting humans again. She was living alongside her best friend Paw, but after a long wait he's now off to his forever home, and we think it's time for Lilly to find hers too.
Lilly has adapted well to the good life, and is used to walking on the lead (and is even great on walks without one!) However, sudden movements and noise still can scare her. She is still a nervous girl.
Because of her background, we are looking for people with the experience with dogs who will have patience and dedication to work with her slowly. Also, we want someone who has a home with a dog that is calm and sociable. Lilly loves the company of other dogs and we know this would help her to settle in, gain some confidence and come out of her shell.
Things you should know about Lilly:
She is 3 years old
Weighs approximately 20kg
Spayed, fully vaccinated and completely healthy.
Currently placed in foster where she’s having fun with many other dogs
Hasn’t been cat tested
How do you adopt Lilly?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
We don't charge an adoption fee. All you will need to pay for Lilly‘s transportation, and pay for her paperwork. The costs are typically €475 in total, depending on where you are located.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
For more information please contact our facebook page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
