Milka {Sponsored}

Update: Thank you to one of our adopters, Rebecca who adopted our lovely Bobby, for sponsoring Milka 💕

The sponsorship will help us to vaccinate our little lady, feed her top quality food and make sure she is fed the best immune boosters possible.

We Do Still Need Some Help to Cover Milka's Vet Bill if You Would Like to Help...

Milka also has an outstanding vet bill of €10 per day for her stay, plus an additional €10 for every dose of medication she had, and every test she needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and can also of course be sent via Paypal - to ivana.naisa@gmail.com - or to our GoFundMe page.

Milka's Story

We found little Milka in May as a tiny puppy hanging around in front of our local hospital. She was so skinny at the time, so we took her in and brought her to our shelter.

We know that often the tiny puppies we take in are sick and it can take a couple of weeks for an illness to come out of the woodwork, even though they seem healthy as Milka did, but unfortunately that wasn't to be.

Even though we invest in applying vitamins, give them supportive medicines to help them build their immune systems, and feed them only the best meat and raw food to try to give them their best chances of survival from when they arrive, Milka still got sick.

Unfortunately for Milka, she was one of the unlucky babies and had Parvo when she arrived.

It's been a rough road for our little champ - we've had day after day at the vets, medication being applied via a drip, and Milka didn't eat for 13 days. Luckily, she seems to be on the mend, but with a hefty vet bill attached.

We'll now be taking her home to continue to nurse her back to health and make her nice, healthy food until she's strong enough to be vaccinated and go to stay at the shelter.

She's doing great and heading for her first vaccines this week - but, we'll need some help to keep 3.5 month old Milka fit and healthy until she's ready to be rehomed.
