They were in the property of the company our team member works for.
After some time during which they had been looked after by Misi's member, they finally moved to foster home.
Sadly their mum couldn't stay with them and instead, she joined us in the shelter.
Meanwhile these babes have grown up so much and are finally ready for a home of their own.
It's now Sia's turn to win over your heart.❤️
She's been here for two years, all jumpy and energetic, at times we thought she was really boisterous and in the mood for a fight as she doesn’t approve of dogs coming close to her pen but once she is out of the pen, her behavior is completely different. She is able to mind her own business in a yard with 25+ dogs in it, able to play with them, to wait her turn for cuddles. Never did she have an incident outside, she is respectful towards other dogs and submissive. Sia as the smallest dog in the shelter deserves to have her little bum print on someone’s sofa as seeing her covered in mud has been heartbreaking for years.
Let’s help SIA find her human <3
Things you should know about Sia
✔️2.5 years old
✔️mixed breed
✔️around 12kg
Currently living in shelter, in a pen, where she's placed with her brother
She used to live indoors but we don't think she remembers any of it so we could easily say that she isn't house & toilet trained so a bit of practice and patience is needed
not cat tested
friendly with other dogs as she is surrounded with numerous dogs and puppies and has never had any issue with them
Loves people and their company, not really phased by unfamiliar people nor their dogs. However her new family should carefully introduce her to the new environment people/dogs/cats as trip can be very stressful for any dog
loving and sweet, quite jumpy in a very gentle way, she never scratches us but she likes to lean her front legs on us and is able to follow us “ standing’ across the shelter which is really funny. Sia is a clingy dog, obsessed with attention and people so we know she’d be a brilliant companion who’ll never leave her human alone –a faboulous indoor and outdoor buddy, glued to her human
hasn’t been introduced to children but we believe she‘ll be amazing with them having in mind how friendly she is. As mentioned above, she is quite jumpy so perhaps kids over 10y of age would be more suitable compared to younger children. Dog savvy kids are always preferred.
Not lead trained
healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed
How do you adopt Sia?
Adoption requires a pre-adoption questionnaire, home check and an adoption contract.
You will need to pay for Sia’s transportation, and pay for the paperwork to get her to you.
The costs can vary from €550 to 650 in total, depending on where you are located and which transport company is delivering a dog to you.
We used to be able to charge a little less but unfortunately, due to brexit, the costs of passports, documentation and travel have been increased by our suppliers.
For more information please contact our facebook page or email misisrescue@gmail.com
