"We came across a post by Martina from MISI's rescue looking for a home for Betty and we fell in love with her beautiful huge eyes and ears!
I have to say we were nervous about adopting a dog from abroad but Martina answered all of our many (many questions) with patience and honesty.
After sending over some video footage of our house and surrounding area we had the great news that we were being considered for Betty’s adoption. We had a video call with Martina, Isidora and Slobodanka to meet Betty and fell head over heels in love with her and we were lucky enough to be chosen for her.

Whilst eagerly awaiting her arrival, we were sent video “pupdates”. You can tell how much the girls love these dogs (I think Slobodanka was sad to see her go!).
After an anxious 3 days tracking her journey here, Betty finally arrived in Nov 2020. We were prepared for a nervous dog who would take time to settle but what arrived was a bouncy doofus who has settled into our life as though she has always been here.
We have lost count of the amount of people who have commented on how relaxed she has been from the start and this is down to the love and commitment from the girls. We cannot express how grateful we are to the girls for choosing us to look after Betty, she has completed our family."
